Sunday was an exciting day for us here at Ottewill. It was the day we would see the trophies we had been creating over many months be presented at this year’s Henley Royal Regatta.
As mentioned previously, we had been commissioned to make 3 new trophies for the Regatta for the Stonor Challenge Trophy, Town Challenge Cup and the Hambleden Pairs Challenge Cup races.
Working very closely with the Regatta Committee, we designed and handmade each of these pieces in Sterling silver at our Kent based workshop. So on Sunday, it was great to see them being presented for the first time to this year’s champions by Dame Katherine Grainger and Sir Steve Redgrave.
